A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Brittany Blount — a leadership coach, business strategist, and champion for purpose-driven women and underrepresented voices in professional spaces.

I bring over 12 years of experience in Higher Education, specializing in leadership development, event operations, and business management. I began my career in Educational Leadership, gaining deep expertise in student housing, campus operations, and organizational development.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Mass Media Communications and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University. Along the way, I’ve also been an active member of professional organizations like the American Planning Association (APA) and National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).

But my passion extends beyond planning exceptional events or managing teams — I’m committed to creating space and opportunity for women and underrepresented communities to rise. I founded (DEI)versify, a recruiting firm dedicated to supporting diverse talent on their career journey. I also coach women in discovering their in(HER) beauty — helping them unlock confidence, clarify purpose, and show up with boldness.

Today, my work is centered around leadership coaching, professional development, and building REAL relationships that inspire growth. Whether I’m hosting a workshop, leading a networking event, or helping someone refine their personal brand, my mission is simple: to empower others to walk boldly into who they were created to be.
